Terms of Service

By accessing or using EaseMyMove (operated by Ovaloop Technologies Inc.), including our web application at app.easemymove.ca and mover portal at movers.easemymove.ca, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable Canadian laws and regulations.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue using our services immediately. You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your province or territory to register an account or book moving services.

EaseMyMove is a digital marketplace and communications platform that connects customers seeking moving services with independent, verified moving companies ("Mover Partners").

EaseMyMove is not a direct motor carrier or moving transport company. Mover Partners operate as independent contractors responsible for executing moving logistics, loading, transport, unloading, and maintaining statutory insurance coverage.

As a customer using EaseMyMove, you agree to:

• Provide truthful, accurate information regarding move addresses, staircases/elevators, parking access, and item inventory.
• Ensure all items to be transported are lawfully owned or authorized for transport.
• Be present or designate an authorized representative during the scheduled pickup and delivery timeframes.
• Review binding/non-binding move quotes and confirm booking terms prior to dispatch.

Every Mover Partner registered on EaseMyMove must maintain active business registration in Canada (including valid CRA tax registration), active commercial general liability insurance, and motor vehicle cargo liability insurance.

EaseMyMove conducts continuous monitoring of customer ratings, feedback, and legal compliance. We reserve the right to suspend or remove any mover that fails to uphold our strict quality and service standards.

All move quotes provided on EaseMyMove are itemized and transparent with zero hidden fees. Deposits required to lock in your moving date are processed through PCI-compliant gateways.

If additional unlisted heavy items or unexpected access hurdles (e.g. broken elevators or unannounced multi-flight stair carries) occur on move day, adjusted fees will be calculated according to the mover's standard written rate schedule.

• Cancellation > 48 Hours Before Move: Full refund of booking deposit.
• Cancellation < 48 Hours Before Move: Deposit may be subject to a cancellation processing fee as specified in your booking confirmation.
• Rescheduling: You may reschedule your move free of charge up to 24 hours prior to pickup, subject to mover availability.

Property damage or cargo loss claims during transit are covered by the Mover Partner's mandatory cargo liability insurance policy. EaseMyMove assists customers in filing claims directly with the assigned mover partner to ensure swift resolution.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
